Civil and Environmental Engineering

UMBC’s Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering offers an M.S. and Ph.D. in civil engineering, as well as an accelerated bachelor’s/master’s.

The program emphasizes research in environmental engineering and water resources. All CEE faculty also hold appointments in the University of Maryland System-wide Marine, Estuarine, and Environmental Science (MEES) graduate program.
